This study trip is done as a request from CICOM BRAINS for the clients who wish to experience a new environment, learn a different culture and business practices. Uzbekistan, as one of the developing counties in Central Asia and former Soviet Union, is the best option to start such exploration with. With its industry oriented focus of development, rich historical and cultural heritage, visitors can find out a lot of new things for themselves and practice their skills in a completely new environment. We hope this study trip will be a successful one. Below is the detailed schedule of the trip.

Day 1: Tashkent

• Arrive in Tashkent - capital of Uzbekistan
• Transfer to a hotel and accommodation at the hotel
• Lunch in a restaurant
• Introductory lecture about Uzbekistan from Nuriy Travel: safety, food, language, transportation, handling emergency situations, study trip schedule, Q&A session.
• Dinner in a restaurant
• Rest in the hotel

Day 2: Tashkent

• Breakfast in the hotel
• A lecture from Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Investment or Chamber of Commerce. This lecture will focused on economic and social aspects of Uzbekistan. Focus will be on investment conditions for potential investors.
• Lunch in a restaurant
• Consumer electronics industry visit: Roison (LG Electronics) or Zenith Electronics
• Dinner in a New TV Tower
• Rest in the hotel

Day 3: Andijan

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Flight to Andijan
• Automobile industry visit: General Motors Uzbekistan (automobiles). A flagship and the only automobile company in Central Asia, started full production in 1996 with partnership with Daewoo Motors (South Korea). 2011's production volume is 220,000 cars. Since the launch, the company has produced more than 1,000,000 cars of 8 models.
• Lunch at a restaurant
• Visit to 3 biggest suppliers in automobile industry: UzTongHeung (car seats), UzKoram (bumpers), UzDongYang (stamp panels). Theses are just 3 plants out of over 90 local suppliers that support the assembly plant with their products.
• Dinner at a restaurant
• Flight to Tashkent
• Transfer to the hotel

Day 4: Tashkent

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Textile industry visit: Kabul Textile. One of the pioneers of textile industry in Uzbekistan.
• Lunch at a restaurant
• Visit another textile company
• Dinner at the hotel
• Rest in the hotel

Day 5: Samarkand

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Flight to Samarkand
• Automobile industry: SamAuto Co. Commercial vehicles production facility stated in 1999. Currently, the plant produces midi-buses of Isuzu, heavy truck of MAN, and develops a new type of bus in-house. Annual production volume is 3,000 units.
• Lunch at a restaurant
• Visit Samarkand's historical heritage and be shocked!
• Catch a fast train to Tashkent
• Transfer to the hotel
• Rest in the hotel

Day 6: Tashkent

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Visit biggest electronics, food, or others markets for self-study
• Lunch at a restaurant
• City tour: Amir Timur Museum, Theatre Square with the Opera House, Applied Arts Museum, Earthquake Memorial, People's Friendship Palace with Abdul Kasim Madrassah and Alisher Navoi National Park, Independence Square
• Dinner in a restaurant
• Rest in the hotel

Day 7: Tashkent

• Breakfast in hotel
• Transfer to the Airport
• Flight to Japan
