Museum of Applied Arts - bright carved plaster decorations (ganch) and carved wood the building of museum itself is an attraction. There is also an exhibit of ceramics, textiles, jewelry, musical instruments and toys.
Navoyi Theater Square - by 1940, Soviet planners had decided a theatre would greatly enhance an area known as the Drunken Bazaar for its wine-soaked market. Japanese prisoners of war completed construction in 1947.
Amir Temur square and Broadway
Barakkhan Madrassah (XVI c) - was the headquarters of the Sunni Mufti of ex-Sogdian Central Asia & Kazakhstan. It is interesting for its mosaic and Arabic calligraphy of the late 16 cent. Brick facade and the intricately carved doors made by Samarkand craftsmen Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum - which is the grave of a local doctor, philosopher and poet of Islam who lived from 904 to 979. The portal, inner dome and arcade dated 16th century, when his holy reputation attracted a cemetery.

Day 2 (April 21): Tashkent – Urgench (Khiva)
5:30 Transfer to Tashkent Airport 3 for flight to Urgench by (HY – 1051 at 07:00).
9:10 Arrive Urgench and drive to Khiva (30 km), hotel check-in and breakfast at the hotel.
Full day for sightseeing of Khiva:
AM sightseeing including visits to the inner town of Ichan Kala (XIV-XX CC) with Muhamad Amin khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark, Muhamad Rahim khan Madrassah, Djuma Mosque and Minaret, Tash Hauli Palace.Lunch in so called restaurant-Madrassah of the XIX century.

 Ulugbek Madrassah (1417) - was the earliest of three commissioned by the enlightened Timurid ruler (the other two stand in Samarakand and Gijduvan) and his secular influence dominates the exterior design of the religious college. Abdul Aziz Khan Madrassah (1652) - glittering in mercifully un-restored 17th century glory. Tim Abdullah khan - was built in 1577 and was one of the most elegant trade halls in Bukhara where silk and wool was sold by Afghan trades. Trading Domes consists of three trading centers: Tok-i-Zargaron (1570) – Jeweler’s Bazaar, Tok-i-Tilpak Furushon – Cap Maker’s Bazaar,Tok-i-Sarrafon – Moneychanger’s Bazaar.
13:00 Lunch in a restaurant. Magoki Attori – in 937 the four-pillared mosque was burn the ground in a city-wide fire and in the 12th century the present mosque was erected, from which the focus of the mosque, the original southern portal remains.Poikalon (XII - XVI c) - ensemble in the center of old Bukhara - includes the cathedral mosque "Kalyan Mosque", "Miri Arab" madrassah and the Kalyan minaret (46 m). Lyabi - Hauz (XVI - XVIIc) - a complex with Nodir - Devon Begi madrassahs big pool surrounded by trees.

 Day 5 (April 24): Bukhara – Samarkand
7:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Drive on to Samarkand (350 km, 4 hours). Samarkand - the Eden of ancient East, the most precious pearl in the Islamic world. Samarkand - called Marakanda in the 4th century BC, whoever tried to conquer it! During the centuries the city has been invaded by troops of Alexander the Great, Arabian invaders, Chenghes Khan and Tamerlane. Today romance of Samarkand still works its magic, alluring the travelers with a dreamlike quality.

Day 6 (April 25): Samarkand

Gur Amir Mausoleum (XV c) - Timurids dynastic burial vault, unique monument of architecture. Pay a visit the Tomb of Tamerlane, visit the tomb of Mir Seyid Bereke, Tamerlane's spiritual tutor. Ruhabad Mausoleum ("House of Spirit") - the legend says that under the dome there is a box with seven hairs of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (14th c.), Registan square (XV – XVII c) - consist of grand madrassah of Ulugbek, Sher Dor & Tillya Kari. Siyob Bazar. Bibi Khanum mosque (XIVc) - Architects, craftsmen & painters re-constructed it in 5 years.

Continue city tour:
Ulugbek’s Observatory (XV c) – 1st observatory in Orient with 30m sextant built by Ulugbek to make exact astronomical catalogue. Afrasiab Museum - each hall of the museum contains exhibits of some period of history of Afrosiab. There is also a hall with remarkable ancient wall paintings special lightening. Shahi - Zinda mausoleum (XIV - XVc) - 'Nown of Dead' a complex of more than 20 unique buildings. Then, you go to see the Mausoleum of Khodja Daniar or Saint Daniel, a prophet of the Old Testament. This holy place is recognized by Islam, Christianity and Judaism as one of eminent pilgrimage destinations  Museum of History and Art of Uzbekistan.

Day 7 (April 26): Samarkand – Tashkent
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out from the hotel and drive 25 km north from Samarkand to visit the spectacular Complex of Imam Al-Bukhoriy, a celebrated personality of Islamic world, which was built with the support of the entire Muslim world.
Drive to Tashkent.

  3. Monument of Courage (1976) - the epicenter of the Tashkent earthquake of 1966
  4. Old part of the city: the architectural complex Khazret-Imam including the necropolis of imam Abu Bakr Muhammad al-Kaffal Shashi who was one of the first Muslim imams and a famous prophet and poet (16th century)
  5. Barak-khan Madrassah - built by Suyunidj-khan - the first ruler of the Uzbek dynasty of the Sheibanid's (16th century)
  6. Tellya-Sheikh Mosque (19th century) also called "Khast Imom Mosque" where Osman Quran - the world's oldest is kept
  7. Mui-Mubarak Madrassah (19th century)

City tour: Gur Emir Mausoleum (14-15th centuries) that was built for Tamerlan's grandson Muhammad-Sultan and the tombs of three other Temurids - sons of Temur - Miranshah and Shahruh and his grandson Ulugbek, Ruhabad Mausoleum ("House of Spirit") - the legend says that under the dome there is a box with seven hairs of Prophet Muhammad (14th century), Registan Square ("A sandy place") - the major square of Samarkand: Ulugbek Madrassah - Sheikh Khodja Akhrar and poet Djami were among outstanding graduates of the Madrassah (15th century), Sher Dor Madrassah ("Having tigers") (17th century), Tillya Kari Madrassah ("Coated by gold") - the rich gilding on the dome, walls and mihrab surpassed all other famous buildings in Central Asia (17th century). The mosque named after Hazret Hyzr- an Islamic saint and eternal wanderer. Day 8 (Saturday): Amritsar

Breakfast. City excursion including visit the Golden Temple (16th century) also known as Harmandar Sahib or Swarna Mandir, which is the most important pilgrimage place for Sikhs, in India. Later visit Jalianwala Bagh, Ranjeet Singh museum and other famous temples along with shopping at local market of the city. In the late afternoon enjoy the retreat ceremony at India-Pakistan border called Wagah Border. Overnight in "The Ocean of the Nectar of Immortality" (another origin of Amritsar's name).

Day 9 (Sunday): Amritsar - Delhi

Early morning transfer to Amritsar Train Station. Catch a train for Delhi (447 km, 6 hrs). Breakfast is served in train. On arrival, our representative will drop you at your hotel. In the afternoon, go for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi which includes a visit to Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosques in India, 1656 y.), Raj Ghat (cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi). Day 10 (Monday): Delhi - Jaipur

Breakfast. Embark on a leisurely drive to Agra (235 km, 5.5 hrs), en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the Ghost City (35 km from Agra). Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honour of Saint Salim Chisti (who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar), is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents a type in itself. Later, in the evening, experience the awe-inspiring beauty of the eternal symbol of love and witness the sunset view of Taj Mahal (1653 y). It was built by Shah Jahan (the ruler of the Mughal Empire in the Indian subcontinent from 1628 until 1658. The name Shah Jahan comes from Persian meaning "King of the World." Day 13 (Thursday): Agra - Delhi

Breakfast. Enjoy a visit to the Red Fort of Agra (also known as Lal Qila and Fort Rouge), which is built in red sandstone and has magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and beautiful gardens. It is the most important fort in India. The great Mughals Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb lived here, and the country was governed from here. Here Emperor Shahjahan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from the little octagonal tower in the Fort.
